Feb. 12, 2012: Potluck/Meeting/walkabout– Danny & Kat’s guesthouse, 527 Lake St., Lawrence (directions: 785/842-4418): We will have a potluck at 11:30 followed by a meeting to further develop plans for the KAW Council Spring Gathering at 12:15 and then a Walkabout about 2 p.m.

May 4-6: Prairie Roots: Growing a Sustainable Future: We are working with a dozen organizations to plan our 30th anniversary spring gathering, to be held May 4-6 (location tba), and featuring Gene and Joyce Marshall, long-time writers and leaders of the bioregional movement, and Stephenie Mills, bioregional writer extraordinaire, plus over a dozen local presenters.
